From the products we make, to the nonprofits we support, we’re dedicated to helping people do more by bike. That’s why we partner with nonprofits around the country to support causes and organizations that promote strong communities and access to bikes. This year, we’re thrilled to announce Hike it Baby and Outride as our official nonprofit partners for 2022. Read on to learn more about these two inspiring organizations.

Hike it Baby (HIB) began in 2013 with a few families getting together to enjoy a group hike. Since then, it has grown into a national nonprofit organization with over 300 chapters across the United States. They offer over 1,500 group hikes each month to help families with babies and young children take their first steps outdoors together.

In addition to group hikes, Hike it Baby provides resources and programs to support parents and families in reaping the physical and mental health benefits of spending time outside. We’re thrilled to partner with HIB this year and look forward to supporting more families in riding (and hiking) their way!

Our second community partner of 2022 is Outride. Founded in 2014, Outride is a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the lives of youth through cycling. They envision a world where cycling is as widespread and accessible as going to the library.

To accomplish their mission, Outride coordinates innovative research efforts, school-based cycling programs, and matching community grants. Their efforts are guided by the beliefs that cycling has a positive impact on cognitive, emotional, and physical well-being and that strong communities are essential to enacting positive change. We’re proud to support Outride’s efforts to support youth and create inclusive communities through cycling.
